The notes I made here during my body in hospital and recovery from summer 2020 until spring 2021 led to my creation of four booklets, We plant seeds in the spring of mountains, 山の春に種を蒔く, and A Body in Hospital and Recovery, 私のからだ 私のこころ.  I created the booklets with the support of designer Sayuri Minato. I want to thank Lenka Clayton (who launched Artist-in-Residency in Motherhood), Nina Katchadourian, and Elizabeth Hoffman for their encouragements upon my creation of this art frame.
