...simplicity and layers
...rawness and a style
I imagine a garden with sculptures.
Nuanced voices move, and sculpt themselves in the space.
The garden at the Noguchi Museum has trees, and stone sculptures. They seem to integrate into the natural environment. The stone sculptures hold both the rawness of the stones, and the style and but chosen by the artist. My experience of visiting the garden several times inspired me to create this work. I chose the vocal nuances and motifs, and simultaneously respect the rawness of them. Four layers of voices are sung only once (without copying and pasting) with specific spaces I created upon my singing. I sculpt through my voice.
